A new introduction this year is the use of Off-Site
Learning Forms, completed by families when a student has an Off-Site
Learning Day. A core aspect of the flexibility of these
days is making sure that they are documented fully, especially
in the advent of an audit by the Ministry of Education
or ERO. Please make sure that you and your student complete
and return the Off-Site Learning Form to school the day
following the OSLD. These will be filed by LAs and form
part of your student’s overall Individual Education
Plan.
The official school handbook for 2012. All students
are given a copy of this when they begin school, additional hard-copies
are available from school reception.
The 2012 student NCEA handbook covers most information
you need to know in preparation for enrolling in different standards.
The handbook also covers assessment procedures and subject requirements.
