What We Are Not

There are a few myths and pre-conceptions about Unlimited.

• We are not a school for everyone... to make the most of your experience at Unlimited you need to have some interests and enthusiasms. If you have no idea at all what you're interested in you might struggle with some of the freedom and choice at Unlimited.

• We are not a private school... Unlimited is a state school, which means we are funded by the Ministry of Education just the same way as every other state school.

• We are not an experiment... Unlimited has been working for hundreds of students for six years now. We are subject to NZQA and ERO reviews just like every other state school, and we have completed these with excellent results.

• We are a place for students who want to achieve NCEA... our students gain New Zealand qualifications. We are proud to have NZ's top scholars at Unlimited, and we expect all our students to work hard towards the most applicable qualification for them.
