


Accommodation Information
All overseas students must live in an approved homestay, with a designated caregiver or parent.Unlimited Paenga Tawhiti Homestay accommodation will:
A typical New Zealand home may have 3 bedrooms, living rooms, kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Most homes have a garden and usually have pets (eg. dog, cat) that are treated as members of the family. Students are required to provide their own toiletries (e.g. toothpaste, hair shampoo).
If you would like an Unlimited Paenga Tawhiti Homestay, please complete the following forms and return to the school with your enrolment forms:
Costs 2010: Placement fee - $200.00
Homestay fees are $215.00 per week, inclusive of $10.00 service fee
Fees are to be paid in advance relevant to the length of stay.
A room retention fee of $50.00 per week may apply during term breaks, if student is away.
If you are arranging your own accommodation with a close family friend or relative please advise us on your Application Form. This is called a Designated Caregiver and requires separate documents that will be sent to you.
You can also live with your own parent who can apply for a guardian visa.
The school requires that our Homestay Coordinator monitors all the types of accommodation arrangements and there is a one-off annual charge to cover the costs to the school of $250 for length of stay of six months or more and $150 for length of stay under six months. No weekly fee is charged.
