We will help Marie for a couple of days to piece together some of the answers to these questions, a chance to see a real life scientist at work in the field. Costs to be determined - transport, food and hut costs, permissions forms need to be collected from KJ. "

"Day trip to Castle Hill for bouldering and Cave Stream for the fun challenge of a cold, dark, wet walk!
For bouldering you will need sunhats and suncream, well fitting trainers or climbing shoes and comfortable clothes. For Cave Stream you will need a head torch and spare batteries, gumboots/old trainers/walking boots and polypros/fleece clothing - please see Miriam to check clothing requirements if in any doubt (she might have a couple of spare items to borrow).
Costs will be for transport and are expected to be around $12. You will need a signed parent permission form and payment at least a week before the trip, and water and lunch."

"Can you keep up? This block is all about learning a bit about exercise science and challenging yourself to compete in a full on exercise challenge.
Week 1 - you will get to see the plan, we will discuss diets/sleep patterns, cover basic exercise nutrition, the science which goes on inside us when we exercise, and get prepared for the challenge.
Week 2 will be the challenge - you will do running, sprinting, push ups, sit ups, burpies, and more. Burn some energy and see if you can survive till the end. Perseverance will be key. Push yourself to your limits!
